Enterprise Agreement Ballot Commences 14 September 2009

The ballot for the proposed new EA opened on Monday 14 September and will close at 5:00pm Friday 25 September.

Enterprise Agreement Information Meetings

Member briefings about the proposed new Enterprise Agreement were conducted on Tuesday 8 September at the CTL Hall from 4:00-5:30pm, and on Thursday 10 September at Dickson College Hall from 4:30-6:00pm. Read the Circular 6 here.
Schools EA Update 5 consisted of an email sent to Sub-Branches on 28 August.
The AEU has sent advice to all Schools Sector members about DET's 21 July letter concerning commencement of bargaining for a new Enterprise Agreement.
Special Branch Council on 30 June 2009 endorsed the proposed settlement for the Schools Enterprise Agreement.
A formal ballot on a final document is still to come. Read Circular 4 here.
Special Council called for 30 June to debate EA negotiation outcome.
Sub-Branches asked to consider their response.

Members have voted in favour of including the Transfer Entitlement proposal in the next Enterprise Agreement.

The AEU has sent advice to all CIT members about CIT's 21 July microBYTE concerning commencement of bargaining for a new Enterprise Agreement.
Special Branch Council on 30 June 2009 endorsed the proposed settlement for the CIT Enterprise Agreement.

Note: The Dispute Resolution Clause was resolved since the document was produced.
