A Sense of History: The history of unions in Australia

Teachers in the ACT public education system work under the ACT Department of Education and Training Teaching Staff ACT DET Teaching Staff Enterprise Agreement 2009-2011. This Agreement covers all teachers including casual relief, contract and permanent teachers. This Agreement was negotiated between the AEU and the Department of Education and Training [DET], before being voted upon by ACT public school teachers.
